Kill me, now?
This is my car. It just came back from the shop, remember?

Well, long story short. My car HATES me. I don’t know why.
Today, it stuck its’ middle finger out at me. In the form of the “service engine soon” light.

REALLY, car? REALLY? Why do you hate me?
Back to Sears in the morning. UGH. I have a hunch they will be excited to see me.
At this point, we are all BFF’s.

You might get lucky and they just forgot to re-set the on board computer and only have to validate it which the should do for free if that is what happened. We had that once before.
Good luck!
1Ours on our Explorer has been on for over 2 years now. They want me to pay to have the computer reset or something. Screw that. Make a product that works, I say!
2I’m seconding the hope-it’s-just-a-reset camp. Maybe it’ll be nothing.
When I worked for Firestone in the corporate offices years ago, they told me horror stories of not being able to find the cause of a Check Engine light sometimes, and they’d just break the bulb so it wouldn’t light up anymore. Nice, huh?
3Thanks guys…it just keeps getting worse and worse, doesn’t it? UGH. I think I will drink myself out of my sorrows!
4good luck! back in the day when i had a car, that light always stayed on because the twats at the body shop never reset it. never fear!
